Our Story
Since 1935, the Gruber family has been a driving force in Denver's construction landscape. Founded by Albert Gerald, Gruber and Sons constructed many of the iconic buildings that shape the city's skyline today.
Building upon this rich legacy, Tom Gruber launched Gruber Construction in 1983, igniting a new era of transformative craftsmanship in Denver's most sought-after neighborhoods — Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Denver Country Club, Hilltop, and Washington Park.

For over four decades, I have proudly served as a general contractor in the luxury residential building industry, shaping the landscape of Denver's great neighborhoods with stunning historic and classical architecture. As a third-generation craftsman, I carry forward a cherished family tradition, infusing each project with a passion for excellence and an unwavering commitment to creating beautiful spaces that transcend time.

Preston Miller grew up in Lancaster, PA, where he was deeply influenced by the surrounding culture of entrepreneurship and rich history of craftsmanship which the region is known for. This identity has fueled his passion for building distinct homes that truly embody these values. Preston brings this passion for dedication and excellence to every aspect of his work.
Preston thrives at the center of a team of architects, designers, engineers, and clients. While being known for his ability to foster a cooperative environment within his teams he is also deliberate in the planning and execution of many complex design challenges.
As a certified Passive House Tradesperson, his expertise lies in implementing sustainable and energy-efficient construction practices, ensuring that projects not only meet but exceed industry standards.
Preston believes in leading by example and fostering a collaborative and transparent work culture. As a problem solver, he pushes his team to think outside the box and approach challenges with a creative mindset.
In his time away from work, Preston enjoys all that the Colorado landscape has to offer with his Wife and three children.
